crazy night.

so annie's mom cindy came into town tonight, and annie left us to go out to eat with some friends.  so i was mister mom at the house.  i made dinner, gave phoebe a bath and put her to bed, then cleaned up the kitchen while nana (cindy) gave maddy a bath.  then annie came home with some great news.  one of our friends, who was also out to eat with annie, is nine months pregnant and at dinner her water broke,  as i blog annie is on the phone right now with her checking up.  she is at the hospital waiting for the arrival of their first child a son named baine.  it got me thinking about how exciting it is to have a child, and the anticipation there is as you wait for the baby to come.  then before you know it they are there in your arms the most amazing moment of your life.  then before you know it you are holding you 9 month old in your arms praying for God to give them a second birth.  all this while you are looking at your two year old who seems like they turned two over night. 

where does time go?  cherish the moments and make the most of them seeing that you glorify God in all that you are.  teaching your children to love and fear the Lord because before you know they will be gone.   or at least that is what they tell me.
